Her wit, candor, and pessimistic realism is all apart of her gritty, dark charm. One thing’s for sure, she’s our favorite day of the week… every day.
The Umbrella Academy (2 Seasons) B+

When 43 Women around the world simultaneously give birth, 6 seemingly ‘special’ children are hand-chosen to be fostered in the famous “Umbrella Academy”, by a rich and famous ‘dad figure’ who vigorously trains and grooms them to one day “Save the World”. But can the world be saved when truths are hidden and lies are revealed about the one they thought they trusted most? If they can learn to trust each other, then maybe somehow, they’ll be able to overcome the impossible, scientifically or supernaturally.

Through the rough, the ragged, and toughest of days, a downpour of drinks is always on hand to wipe an outpour of tears. With friends like these to chip in when you’re weary, there’s nothing that can’t be planted in the hardest moments that won’t bloom in better times. This friendship and series blossoms sweetly, like magnolias in the spring.

No matter how far ahead you are in the future, sometimes you just CANNOT escape your past. And in the worst case scenario, you pay for it in the penitentiary. Well in this worse case scenario, based loosely off of true experience, when days you thought couldn’t get harder, do, find friends, find allies, and find ways to cope in lockdown.
